"To fold a line is a gesture that opens a new space, a gesture speaking of a limit transgression, of new spaces forthcoming. In the thinness of the line, in its entire trajectory, in its very origin, the fold finds its entire space. The play of lines transgressions thus means exposing an exterior, looking for an outward of the line. It creates uncertainty, overrides what thinking wants to surprise.
The intersection of the line, at that point of its folding, at that point of time, opens the limit on the unlimited, in the deep darkness.
This point, this cross, the crossing and the denial of singularity is lost in the darkness that it has just opened through its sovereignty. The fold drives the line up where it awakens: in its imminent disappearance, where it finds out what it excluded. In the very movement of this loss, the line feels its own truth, reclining
in front of its own enclosure. However, folding owes its presence to the very element it crosses and which it intends to cancel, deleting the line.
The fold does not oppose white to black, in the line value it only sizes the lack of measure of the distance that opens in it and re-draws the flashing line. It is movement after all, it makes the line question itself about its own nature, its own trajectory - disquieting and thrilling at one and the same time. "
