Dark, mythical and romantic. Helga Thoroddsen applies the language and symbolism of medieval painting to contemporary subjects, using women in her life as models.
The symbols become metaphors for virtue or vice. Fabularum is a painting exhibition inspired by women in folklore, with a primary focus on Icelandic myths and legends.

Muller's work directly responds to the surrounding environment and is inspired by the indigenous, the sacred, ritualistic and by the deep rooted connections of man with the natural world.
